If beachfront living is what you're after, this apartment fits the bill. Fuengirola's sandy shores are just steps away – so close, in fact, that you can watch sunbathers from the private terrace. Sure, the interior may not be as eye-catching as the seaside panoramas – we think it's rather dated, truth be told – but there's plenty of natural light and a decent amount of space. The shared swimming pool and on-site parking are nice bonuses, too. Just note that the third single bed is a tad smaller than the others, so we think it's best for kids.

Home truths
The third single bed is a little small, so not everyone may find it comfortable. We think it's best for children.
This apartment is in a residential complex with a shared swimming pool and entrance. The pool is only available to use between 1st June and 15th September.
Your host can provide a free cot and high chair on request.
The traditional decor here may not be to everyone's taste. It feels a little dated.
Although there's only air conditioning in the living room and some bedrooms, your host provides three fans.
