A driveway meanders through a meadow and forest to this home set in 13 acres. Just take a look at the views of the Catskill Mountains from the heated pool – aren't they beautiful? The deck has a barbeque, a fire pit and a dining area to make the most of the setting, and a path leads down to three hammocks where you can immerse yourself in the birdsong. Inside are more vistas to admire, and there's a wood burner, too, perfect for cosy nights. The towns of Cairo and Catskill are a five and fifteen-minute drive, respectively, while the city of Hudson is a twenty-minute ride. There's an Amtrak station in Hudson, but we'd still recommend having a car here.

Home truths
Your host can provide a travel cot and high chair for free.

The heated swimming pool is only available from mid-May to late September.
We recommend hiring a car to get the most out of your stay (although there's an Amtrak station in Hudson twenty minutes away). In the winter, we advise a four-wheel drive vehicle that can handle the snow and gravel roads. There's plenty of parking.
