You'll find this blue-hued cabin in Narrowsburg, a small hamlet in the heart of the Catskills. From stargazing in the garden and kayaking on the Delaware to vintage shopping in town, this area offers something for everyone. It's also just two hours by car from New York City, making it ideal for day trips. All the essentials for a comfortable stay are included – be it board games, children's toys or Public Goods toiletries. There's plenty of space inside and out for family gatherings and a separate den perfect for little ones. Though our favourite spots are the outdoor fire pit and indoor fireplace, both incredibly cosy come winter.

Home truths
If you're travelling with little ones, your host can provide a portable crib, high chair, changing table, baby bath, baby monitor, and a few toys on request.
Two of the bedrooms are on the upper floor, while the third is on the lower level. One room has a small single bed that you can use on request – we think it's best for a child.
Although this home doesn't have air conditioning, there are ceiling fans in each room. The windows can also be opened, so it's easily aired out.
We highly suggest hiring a car in this area, and in winter, you'll need a car with four-wheel drive that can handle the snow and gravel roads. There's free parking available here.
