Home truths

Due to this home's location, we recommend hiring a car to get the most out of your stay. The house is located on a mountain slope at the end of a 300-foot gravel driveway and there is dedicated parking for up to three cars. In the winter, it’s better to have a car with four-wheel drive that can handle the snow and gravel roads.

This is a lived-in home. You should expect some of the host's personal belongings in one of the kitchen cupboards and in a locked closet in one of the bedrooms.

About Saugerties

While Upstate New York is used to being overshadowed by the city, a trip up the Hudson brings you to some charming towns and beautiful scenery. The slower pace of life here is an excellent antidote to the frenetic energy of Manhattan and Brooklyn. The lush, ever-changing landscape is an attraction in itself, but the towns of the Hudson Valley offer a healthy dose of culture and history. This area...
