Tucked away in the small village of Sutton-upon-Whitestonecliffe, this home will scratch that itch for an idyllic escape in the English countryside. Drop your bags and take in the cottage-like feel of the home, with its exposed brick walls and rustic wooden furniture. Though the decor may not be to everyone’s taste, and two guests will be sleeping on the sofa beds at full occupancy, it’s got a lot going for it. You’ll have access to the resort’s pool, hot tub and tennis court, and it’s just a few minutes away from the quaint village of Thirsk, with its bustling high street and medieval castle.
