The waterside vistas seen from the private balcony of this contemporary Copenhagen apartment had us hook, line and sinker – and that was before we'd even seen the home's design-savvy interiors. Alongside the two elegant bedrooms, there's a cosy TV snug with a sofa bed for the last two guests – great for children or teens, but it won't suit everyone. Housed in an exclusive waterfront development, it's worth noting there are ongoing building works nearby. But for such an unbeatable location, we can let that slide. Hop over the canal to postcard-pretty Nyhavn Harbour or soak up the hip cafe culture of Christiania – it's all just a stroll away.

Home truths
This home sleeps six guests, with the last two guests sharing a sofa bed in the TV snug. We think this room is better suited to short stays or children sharing. Outside the snug room, you’ll find an open wardrobe for storage.
There is some construction work happening in the building and surrounding area. Construction work will be limited to between 7am and 7pm on weekdays and Saturdays between 8am and 5pm.
This home is in a central spot, so expect to hear some street noise throughout your stay.
Your host politely asks you to respect quiet hours between 10pm and 8am.
