Located on Northumberland Street in the heart of Edinburgh, this apartment places many of the city’s most iconic hotspots within walking distance. Sure, it’s stripped back in style, so we think it’s better suited to business travellers or those happy to forfeit their luxury home comforts. That said, just bear in mind that if you need somewhere for remote working, while the home office is an added bonus, the internet isn’t the strongest due to the age of the building.

Home truths

Parking in Edinburgh can be tricky, so we recommend sticking to the easily accessible public transport where possible. Many of the city's main attractions are within a 10-20 minute walk or choose from buses or the Edinburgh Tram with a stop at nearby St Andrew Square.

Home comforts are lacking here. We think it's best suited to those looking for a base to use when travelling for work.

The wi-fi isn't very strong here as the home is situated in an old building. It might be worth bringing a personal hotspot device with you if you know you'll need to access the internet.

To get you started and save a little room in your suitcase, complimentary travel-sized toiletries are provided.

About New Town

Edinburgh’s New Town isn’t new at all – it’s a glorious example of 18th-century Georgian town planning and architecture that has rightfully earned its UNESCO World Heritage Status. There’s a lot more than beautiful architecture on offer here though. Located in the centre of the city, it’s a short walk from Waverley Station, and well serviced by public transport. Princes Street, George Street, St Andrew’s Square, and the West End...
