This unique home in Clerkenwell caught our eye for its striking, lofty living area reminiscent of a barn conversion. There’s plenty of room for the group to spread out between the plush lounge and mezzanine seating area, and the full kitchen is sleek and modern. There’s a vintage writer’s desk in the main bedroom for those working remotely and a bar trolley to unwind after – the welcome bottle of wine is a nice touch. This place faces an internal courtyard, so despite the ultra-central location, it’s relatively quiet. St Paul’s Cathedral and the Thames are a short stroll away and Farringdon Station is just four minutes on foot – you'll be well-placed to explore London.

There's an internal spiral staircase to the mezzanine level which may not suit young children or those with limited mobility.
While it faces an internal courtyard, this home is in a busy area of the city so you may hear some street noise.
