You’ll find this smart bolthole placed around the corner from two of Eixample’s hotspots – Arc de Triomf and the vast green spaces of Ciutadella's Park. While we love the home's overall design, the apartment lacks natural daylight in places. Although the cosy, light-filled atrium room leading off the lounge is a nice touch for morning coffees and evening drinks. If six guests share, two of you will have to make do with the sofa bed in the lounge. Not ideal for some, but it could work out fine for children sharing or a shorter stay.

Home truths
This home sleeps six guests, with the last two guests sleeping on a double sofa bed in the lounge. The bedrooms are short on wardrobe space, so we'd recommend packing light.
Although not fully photographed, there is a small sitting room leading off from the lounge.
You won't find an oven here – though there is a hob. We think the kitchen is better suited to prepping lighter bites than large meals.
This home is located within an apartment building, with a shared entrance and lift access.
Given the home's central spot, expect to hear some street noise throughout your stay. Light sleepers might want to pack earplugs.
You’ll need to respect quiet hours between 10pm and 9am.
