You’ve got the bustle of the L’Eixample district on your doorstep at this apartment. The nerve centre of the Catalan capital, Plaça Catalunya, is right around the corner, and the atmospheric streets of the Gothic Quarter are just a stroll away. If we were being picky, this isn’t the most characterful of homes, and the second bedroom is pocket-sized. But if you’re looking for a fuss-free, central bolthole, you’re onto a winner. The two bathrooms are handy to speed your mornings along, and the small balcony with views of the city's rooftops is a bonus. Most impressive at night when the lights of Barcelona spark on.
