Cool off on hot summer days in this home's plunge pool in the pretty courtyard garden. There's a portable barbecue for cooking alfresco meals here, too. Inside, there's plenty of room for entertaining, and we love the character features and log burner – perfect for when the Mallorcan weather turns chilly. If you need to work from home, there's also a dedicated office area. This house, set within the walls of Alcudia's ancient citadel, is ideal, we'd say, for guests who don't necessarily want to hire a car. Alcudia's bars, restaurants, shops, and beach are all within walking distance. There's also a bus station just over a five-minute walk away with regular services to Pollensa, Puerto Pollensa and Palma.
