This charming duplex lies in Manhattan's West Village. Spread over multiple levels with the kitchen up on the mezzanine, groups will have plenty of space here, though you'll need to climb a lot of stairs. If you're looking for a home base while working remotely, you'll find computer equipment and standing desks to maximise productivity. The private garden is spread over two tiers and is equipped for barbecues, with outdoor seating and sun loungers. While children and little ones aren't permitted, we think friend groups will love it here thanks to its proximity to bars, restaurants and shops.

Home truths

Parking in New York can be tricky, so we recommend sticking to easily accessible public transport where possible.

This home is in an apartment building so there is a chance you might hear some noise from upstairs residents, and you might bump into other guests during your stay. Light sleepers might want to pack earplugs.

This home is spread over multiple levels, with a mezzanine and a lower level. There are also two levels in the garden, so climbing stairs will be required during your stay.

There is a dedicated workspace here for getting remote work done during your stay. You'll also find a wireless keyboard, mouse, monitor, standing desks, and ergonomic chairs here.

There are two fireplaces here, and one of them is wood-burning.

About Greenwich Village

Take a stroll around Greenwich Village and you might – just for a minute – forget you’re in the heart of a pulsating metropolis. In the 1960s, it was heaving with artists and the epicentre of counterculture, but these days the storied studios and elegant townhouses are among the most desirable in the city, so you’re more likely to bump into an A-lister than a have-a-go hippie. Greenwich Village may...
