Built for the owner of one of the Cognac-producing estates in the 19th century, this manoir offers a blend of history and elegance. Set in over 3 hectares of parkland, the grounds are filled with century-old trees, roses, vines and fig trees. You’ll also find a private swimming pool with views towards Cognac. There’s a boules pitch for an afternoon match too. In fact, this place is perfect for families – there’s a games room with foosball, a pool table and table tennis. Another highlight is the interiors – the grand salon is particularly special with its windows overlooking the parkland. There’s so much space here, yet you're only just over 4 kilometres from Cognac with its restaurants and daily market.

Home truths

This home is set over several floors.

One cot and one high chair are available on request, free of charge. Please be aware that guests need to bring their own linen for the cot.

If travelling with young children, it’s worth knowing there is a pond near the entrance gate, and please also note that some of the barn space is not suitable for children (housing original cognac-making equipment).

The saltwater pool (with electric safety cover) is open approximately end of May to the end of September. Please note that pool opening dates are subject to local weather conditions and pool maintenance requirements, and that cooler months may not be suitable for swimming.

Being on the edge of Cognac, yet backed by rural landscapes and vineyards, you may occasionally hear the local 'N' road if the wind travels in a certain direction.

Due to this home's location, we recommend hiring a car to get the most out of your stay. There's free parking here.

This home is managed by Oliver

This home is managed directly by a business. A member of their staff will be your point of contact before and during your stay. Nearly twenty years ago, Oliver and his friend began curating the world's most unique and rustic getaways. Driven by their own unforgettable experience at a chateau, they have grown remarkably since then. Much like Plum, they believe in hand-picked luxury that doesn't break the bank.

This home is nominated for the Plum Guide Award.
