You'll find this ground-floor apartment nestled between Kensal Rise and Kensal Green. Although it's further out of the city, this part of West London has an artsy, family-friendly vibe – plus, with a Tube and Overground station both a ten-minute walk away, you won't be too far from the action. Cosy and contemporary, this home is a hidden gem. The patio is perfect for evening tipples, the freestanding bath is ideal for a post-sightseeing soak, and the garden even has a studio for remote work (although it currently lacks electricity). We think it'll suit a couple perfectly – especially those wanting to be in a quiet neighbourhood with access to central London.

Home truths

There's a studio at the bottom of the garden with an office and sofa bed. It currently does not have electricity, so we wouldn't suggest using it as an extra bedroom or a work-from-home base.

The patio and some of the outdoor furniture look a little tired. We think it could use a spruce-up.

The kitchen is compact, but it has everything you need to rustle up dinner.

You will be provided with high-quality bed linens, a bath mat, bath towels and tea towels for the kitchen. Your host also provides shampoo, shower gel, and toilet paper at the beginning of your stay, but not throughout.

About Kensal Green

Situated in the culturally diverse Borough of Brent, away from the thrum of tourists, Kensal Green – sometimes known as Kensal Rise – is one of West London’s most coveted postcodes. The not-for-profit Lexi Cinema, with its selection of arthouse and mainstream flicks has become a firm favourite among the neighbourhood’s creative types. Chamberlayne Road, Kensal’s main artery, was once heralded by Vogue as the hippest street in Europe. The...
