Panoramic views are the star of the show at this cosy villa in Funchal. It's part of a resort that's a twenty-minute drive from the city centre. That said, we don't blame you if you'd rather spend your days basking on the balcony and taking in the ocean scenery. The design isn't anything to fuss about, but it's functional and, most importantly, comfortable. Besides, with a private pool (heated for a fee), a terrace, and access to the resort's amenities (including a golf course, spa, and on-site restaurants), we think it's a solid choice.
