Boasting an all-too-rare private terrace and oozing historic charm, it's no wonder this apartment in Como caught our eye. While some of the artwork isn't everyone's cup of tea, the 300-year-old vaulted ceilings are a beauty. And wait until you see the main en-suite bedroom with a freestanding bath, walk-in wardrobe and Juliet balcony doors. At full occupancy, the last two guests will share a sofa bed in the lounge, but the three bathrooms will help speed mornings along. Set just a short walk from Como's Duomo, the main shopping street and lake, its central location is spot-on.
