Do you have a question about this home or the local area?
Located in one of Rome's most tranquil and green areas, this apartment is a step back from the crowds. That said, restaurants, shops and cafes are on your doorstep as well as plenty of public transport options for travelling to the city's most iconic landmarks. At home, the minimalist living space and uncluttered bedroom will help you relax after busy days spent sightseeing. But the real charmer is the home's private balcony, which serves as an idyllic spot to unwind with an icy Aperol Spritz. Keep in mind that two people will be sleeping on a sofa bed at full capacity.

About Valle Aurelia
Valle Aurelia is directly behind the Vatican, but you’d never guess from the number of tourists. Perhaps the nickname, Valle dell’Inferno (Valley of Hell) is enough to put them off. Rest assured though, it’s not a comment on the place, rather a reference to the presence of enormous furnaces in the area, which were in use up until the 1920s. It was the heart of metalworking, clay firing and brickmaking in Rome for centuries, and this instilled a vibrant working-class character to the neighbourhood, which endures today.
