4.0

Located in one of Rome's most tranquil and green areas, this apartment is a step back from the crowds. That said, restaurants, shops and cafes are on your doorstep as well as plenty of public transport options for travelling to the city's most iconic landmarks. At home, the minimalist living space and uncluttered bedroom will help you relax after busy days spent sightseeing. But the real charmer is the home's private balcony, which serves as an idyllic spot to unwind with an icy Aperol Spritz. Keep in mind that two people will be sleeping on a sofa bed at full capacity.

Home truths

At full occupancy, two people will be sleeping on a sofa bed in the living area.

The kitchen is on the small side and we think is better suited for preparing light bites rather than large meals.

    This apartment lacks a TV.

Air-conditioning is only in the living area.

The minimalist design might not be to everyone's taste. Those after a more soulful home may want to look elsewhere in our Rome collection.

This home is best suited for those who don't mind hopping on public transport to reach the city centre.

Your host does not accept groups of young people.

About Valle Aurelia

Valle Aurelia is directly behind the Vatican, but you’d never guess from the number of tourists. Perhaps the nickname, Valle dell’Inferno (Valley of Hell) is enough to put them off. Rest assured though, it’s not a comment on the place, rather a reference to the presence of enormous furnaces in the area, which were in use up until the 1920s. It was the heart of metalworking, clay firing and brickmaking in Rome for centuries, and this instilled a vibrant working-class character to the neighbourhood, which endures today.
