This apartment is located in the lively barrio of La Latina, where a maze of winding lanes lined with tapas bars and cantinas await. If you’re visiting on a Sunday, the open-air Mercado del Rastro market takes place – though you’ll have plenty else to keep you busy the rest of the week, with Plaza Mayor and Museo Nacional del Prado nearby. This loft apartment is spread over two floors, so expect some stairs and low ceilings – though we think the beams add stylistic charm. There’s plenty of space for a large group to spend time together, with an inviting open-plan living and dining area for sharing tapas feasts.

You’ll need approval from Madrid’s General Directorate of Municipal Traffic (DGT) to access the road by private vehicle – this may incur an additional fee. With that in mind, we suggest getting around on foot, using taxis, or taking advantage of nearby public transportation.
