Set in Chamberí, one of Madrid's most sought-after neighbourhoods, the location of this apartment is bang-on. While the apartment building's handsome period exteriors make quite a first impression, the interiors of the apartment are more pared-back, so it isn't the most homely of places. It's also worth noting that two bedrooms have bunk beds, and the last two guests will be sleeping on a sofa bed in the lounge – fine for a small family sharing, but it won't suit everyone. But you can't fault that main bedroom with dual aspect Juliet balcony doors and an ensuite bathroom.
