Ask the host anything
Do you have a question about this home or the local area?
You’ve got all of Madrid’s must-see sights at your feet with a stay at this Atocha district apartment. Take your pick from the grand Parque de El Retiro, countless galleries and buzzy tapas bars – it’s all just a stroll away. While there are many perks to this beautifully restored building, including those pretty Juliet balconies, this home does have its quirks. One of the bedrooms has an internal glass partition with no natural daylight, and the last two guests will share a sofa bed in the lounge. The living space will feel a little tight, too, at full occupancy. But for a home this central, we’ll let that slide.

About Atocha
When thinking of Atocha, the mammoth train station immediately comes to mind. While it’s a transport hub connecting Madrid to all others parts of Spain, its appeal lies in more than just logistics. The station itself is full of restaurants (some are the best in the area), and the sprawling streets around it will slowly lead to some of the best museums in town. Staying here will place you within walking distance of Prado, The Reina Sofia Museum, and Retiro Park.
