Crisp interiors and a central location – this is how we like city living to be. Part of a modern apartment complex, the designers have worked their magic here with a supped-up kitchen that’s made for action and a balcony for evening drinks. Well-suited for a family stay, the third bedroom has bunk beds. Meanwhile, you can spill out into the primary bedroom, complete with a private en-suite. Set in the leafy Kerem HaTeimanim neighbourhood along a quiet residential street, you’d hardly believe the buzz of Carmel Market is just two steps from your door. Here for the sun-and-sea-scene? Jerusalem Beach is just a ten-minute walk away. Now, how’s that for a location?

Home truths

The third bedroom has bunk beds, which we think are better suited to children and teens. There's also a pull-out single bed in this room to sleep the seventh guest.

If you're travelling for work, you won't find a dedicated desk here. However, the dining table doubles up as a laptop-friendly workspace.

Local guide

About Kerem Hateimanim

Nestled in between the Carmel Market and the beach, you'll find Kerem Hateimanim, a small neighbourhood founded by Yemeni immigrants in the 1930s. It’s come a long way since then, and today it’s been taken over by bohemian Tel-Avivians looking for affordable housing. Even though Kerem Hateimanim is in the process of being gentrified, the neighbourhood hasn’t lost the authentic, village-like feel that’s beloved by many. There are still plenty of the original Yemenite restaurants around, which are worth a visit, even if you don’t end up staying in this part of the city.
