Do you have a question about this home or the local area?

This studio-style apartment is situated in the neighbourhood of Colón, famous for its monument to Christopher Columbus. Nearby, you'll find the desirable district of Salamanca with its designer boutiques. Plenty of eateries are within walking distance too, which is convenient as this home's kitchen is small with no oven, so it's best suited for preparing lighter bites. The living room is bright thanks to a large window (with views over the locale), which is handy as there's no window in the bedroom area – it borrows light from the living space. This place is ideal as a base for your Madrid adventures.

Home truths

There's no lift here. You'll need to be able to climb stairs to reach the entrance of the home.

This is a studio-style home. The bedroom is separated from the living area by a dividing wall with no door, and there's no external window here – it borrows light from the living space.

While the home can sleep up to four people (two on a sofa bed in the living area), the maximum occupancy is two guests.

You won't find an oven here – though there is a hob. We think the kitchen is better suited to prepping lighter bites than large meals.

Given the home's central spot, expect to hear some street noise throughout your stay.

About Chueca

Chueca is the epicentre of LGBT+ culture and nightlife in Madrid. By day, this bohemian neighbourhood is home to cobbled streets fringed with ochre-hued buildings, sidewalk cafes and local shops catering to the gay community. But at night, it truly comes alive – stores stay open late and the bars even later. Pelayo Street is teeming with restaurants, cocktail bars and boutiques, while Plaza de Chueca is the go-to meeting...
