Do you have a question about this home or the local area?

An ideal base for sightseeing, this apartment is located in the heart of Lisbon. You'll be within walking distance from Praça do Comércio, the Tagus River, and a wide array of shops and restaurants. The metro is also close by for journeys further afield. Bright and comfortable, the fuss-free design may not appeal to those seeking a unique home-from-home. That said, the sleek kitchen has plenty of space to cook a meal, the bedrooms are cosy, and there's paid parking right outside. Light sleepers may want to pack earplugs, though – noise is likely in this central spot.

Home truths

Pets are welcome to join you on request, with the host's prior approval.

The second bedroom has two single mattresses pushed together to create a double.

Given the home's central spot in a residential apartment, expect to hear some street noise throughout your stay.

If you're travelling for work, you won't find a dedicated desk here. However, the dining table doubles up as a laptop-friendly workspace.

Toiletries aren't provided, so you'll need to bring your own. If you want to stock up on arrival, the nearest supermarket is a short walk away.

About Chiado

Chiado is full of old-world charm, and is one of the best-loved parts of Lisbon. Think pastel-hued homes, cobbled streets and plenty of squares to soak up the atmosphere. There’s a slower pace of life in Chiado, which is why it’s so popular with locals. Hop on a tram to take in the open-air ruin of the Camo church, a Gothic masterpiece that was mostly destroyed in an earthquake, or hit the shops – this is one of Lisbon’s best shopping districts, after all.
