Do you have a question about this home or the local area?

Deep in the heart of the Cotswolds, we found this idyllic home to be an ideal setting for a romantic escape. Both Glouster and Cheltenham are a short drive away, but beautiful nature, picturesque villages, and country pubs accessible via cross-country walks are the main draw here. As it's an annex, you won't be completely secluded outside, but the home is yours alone and has a private entrance. While there are plenty of welcome authentic touches – especially the wooden lintels and exposed brickwork – the sloping ceiling in the bedroom might inconvenience taller guests.

Home truths

This home is an annex and connected to another home, so you may bump into other people while you're here.

The entrance is accessed via an external staircase. There are also several steps leading down to the bedroom, so this home isn't suitable for those with limited mobility.

The ceiling is very uneven in the bedroom. It may not be suitable if both guests are tall.

If you're travelling with little ones, you'll find a cot and highchair here. Your host can also provide a baby monitor and baby bath on request.

You'll need to drive here. There's free parking.

If you're travelling for work, you won't find a dedicated desk here. However, the dining table doubles up as a laptop-friendly workspace, and the wifi is fast.
