Nestled in the heart of Chamberí – renowned for its theatres, museums and art galleries – this apartment places you in a prime position for exploring while being far removed from the tourist crowds. You'll still be within close proximity to the city's top highlights and famous landmarks via the easily accessible public transport links nearby – Iglesia Metro stop lies just two minutes away on foot. Inside, the home is a little generic for our taste and the kitchen lacks an oven. However, it's bright and modern, and will do nicely as a practical city pad for two.

You won't find an oven here – though there is a hob. We think the kitchen is better suited to prepping lighter bites than large meals.
This home was purpose-built for rentals, so it's not the most soulful or charming space.
Parking in Madrid can be tricky, so we recommend sticking to easily accessible public transport where possible. Iglesia Metro station is a two-minute walk.
If you're travelling for work, you won't find a dedicated desk here. However, the dining table doubles up as a laptop-friendly workspace.
