This villa in the city of Machico puts everything within easy reach. You can walk to the town centre or the beach in just fifteen minutes, and there are restaurants and a supermarket a short stroll from the door. Inside, the open-plan living area has wraparound windows looking out onto an entrance filled with greenery. There’s no official garden, but it’s a great spot to sit out with a coffee. You’ll also have mountain views, which get even better upstairs. If you’re a full group, two guests will use the sofa bed upstairs – but with two living areas, everyone still has their own bit of space.
