Sure, the fuss-free interiors may not suit everyone, but when you can wake up to sea views every day, it really is about what’s outside the windows. The sun-drenched garden, albeit slightly overlooked, is the perfect spot for tapas as the waves crash mere metres away. For non-beach days, you can’t go wrong with a trip to the old town of Alcúdia where you can live like a local with a visit to the market, held on Tuesdays and Sundays.
