Welcome to Bloomsbury, London's literary heart. Here, world-class museums, historic sites, and – you guessed it – independent bookstores are within striking distance. You'll find this mews home tucked down a charming cobbled lane, just a short walk from Russell Square. We love the open-plan living area, where the whole group can come together to drink, dine, and, of course, read. The second bedroom has a mezzanine level for guests five and six, so although privacy is lacking a bit, space shouldn't be an issue. Even if you're not a bookworm, we think it'll be a good choice for a family stay in central London.

Home truths
The second bedroom has two beds, one of which is located on a mezzanine level. It's semi-open to the space below, so privacy is limited.
This home is spread across two floors, with an internal staircase.
There are desks in both bedrooms if you're planning to work from home during your stay.
Parking isn't provided, but you won't need a car in central London. Instead of driving, explore on foot or take advantage of the city's excellent public transportation.
The windows in the living area are quite high up, so there may not be heaps of natural light.
The wi-fi can be temperamental here. It might be worth bringing a personal hotspot device with you if you know you'll need to access the internet.

About Bloomsbury
Bloomsbury has got it all. Steeped in literary history (this is where Virginia Woolf and her pals used to live), filled with beautiful townhouses and some of the most delightful garden squares in London. It has some great pubs, and is home to one of London's most-loved street of independent shops and restaurants, the utterly charming Lamb's Conduit Street. The British Museum is on your doorstep and Oxford Circus is a ten minute walk away. Need we say more?
