This bright studio apartment is nestled in the heart of Rome, boasting views of Piazza Venecia and Via del Corso from the cosy private balcony. We think it's well-suited to couples or solo travellers, though the double sofa bed adds flexibility if you're travelling with friends or family and your host can provide childcare equipment for little ones. You won't find a full kitchen here and the kitchenette lacks an oven, but you'll find plenty of Rome's best restaurants and bars within easy walking distance so you're never far from an authentically mouth-watering meal.

Home truths
At full capacity, two guests will sleep on the sofa bed in the living space. There's no door to separate the bedroom from the rest of the home, so privacy will be limited.
Your host can provide a free cot and high chair if you're travelling with little ones. You may need to request these in advance.
You won't find an oven here – though there is a hob. We think the kitchen is better suited to prepping lighter bites than large meals.
This home is in an apartment building in a central location, so there is a chance you may hear some outside noise during your stay.
Wardrobe space is limited here and the home is small throughout, so we recommend packing light.
Daily housekeeping is provided at this home.

The site is reputed to be at the junction of three roads – tre vi – that mark the arrival point of the Acqua Vergine, an ancient aqueduct that provided water to much of the city. The fountain and its elaborate façade was a papal commission from the eighteenth century – relatively recent in...
