Beneath the original wooden beams of this 16th-century palazzo reimagined into a collection of designer apartments, you’ll find a practical home that's bang-up-to-date. Think sound system, air conditioning, and a super-king-sized bed to peer onto the Grand Canal with your morning coffee. Set in the heart of the Saint Mark’s district, you’re a six-minute walk from the iconic square, and the Dorsoduro District is a short hop over the Accademia Bridge.

Home truths

Air conditioning is provided between the warmer months of May and September.

Taller guests may need to watch their head on some of the ceiling beams and the en-suite bathroom will feel compact for some.

The coffee table converts to a small dining table with breakfast bar seating. Fine for breakfasts and light bites, but it might not be the best option if you plan to eat in often. That said, you'll find some of the area's best restaurants close by.

A lot of the luxury hotels are around here, so it’s not necessarily the place to find authentic, family-run restaurants or cafes. This area’s known for...
