This Italian home boasts panoramic views of the Pistoia hills from the poolside. Comprising a main house and barn rented as one, you’ll have four living rooms to spill out into here. With a pool table, table football, and archery, there’s plenty to keep the kids happy, and outdoor meals will be easy thanks to two alfresco dining tables, a barbecue, and an outdoor oven. The layout here won’t suit everyone – the home is spread over several floors and one of the staircases is open – and the traditional decor won’t be to everyone’s tastes, but it’s a great option for those seeking a house with personality. Location-wise, you’re in the village of Massa e Cozzile, with Lucca, Pisa, and Versilia within driving distance for day trips.

Home truths
This home comprises a main house and a barn, rented as one. At full occupancy, three guests will be sleeping on two sofa beds in the living area.
The swimming pool is only available for use between 15 May and 30 September. It isn’t fenced so children will need to be supervised at all times.
Your host can provide a cot for free. You'll need to request it in advance and bring your own linen.
One well-behaved dog is welcome to join you – breed and size restrictions may apply, so please check with your host before your stay.
Air conditioning is only available in two of the rooms.
