Sitting on a canal in Fort Lauderdale's Citrus Isles, this house puts the Intracoastal right in front of you – sailboats and yachts drifting past the living area and backyard as a matter of daily routine. The barbecue terrace is the obvious place to spend an evening, with the waterway as backdrop. Inside, the setup works equally well for a family or a couple extending a cruise stopover – a dedicated workspace with waterway views suits remote workers, and FLL Airport is a ten-minute drive. For sea and sand, Fort Lauderdale Beach is about twelve minutes away by car.
