Do you have a question about this home or the local area?
This cosy studio apartment boasts a remarkable location opposite the Jardin du Luxembourg. It’s close to the Latin Quarter, known for its literary cafes, universities, and theatres – there’s even a theatre at the foot of the building. The Pantheon is only five minutes away, too. The studio is warm and quiet despite its central setting, making it a convenient and comfortable base for two. The bed is at mezzanine level above the living room – while this won’t suit everyone, we think it adds to the romance of this charming abode.

Home truths
Parking in Paris can be tricky so we recommend sticking to the easily accessible public transport system – Notre-Dame-des-Champs metro station is a ten-minute walk away, and the Luxembourg RER station is at the foot of the building.
There are stairs to climb at this home, so it may not be suitable for those with reduced mobility. This home is on the fifth floor of the building – there’s a lift from the second floor so you’ll need to climb stairs to reach the apartment.
The bedroom ceiling is sloped so tall guests may need to take care. The bedroom is at mezzanine level above the living space so it’s not entirely private.

Local guide
About Latin Quarter
Filled with students pouring out of the city's top universities, the Latin Quarter is packed with character and is a great base for exploring the very best of Paris. The area is a book lover's paradise - there are plenty of wonderful bookshops to rummage through and lots of arthouse cinemas too. This is Paris at its most charming and you'll find vibrant market streets, quaint squares and quiet, tree-lined...

Play the artist at La Closerie des Lilas
A favourite with Paris' art scene since its opening in 1847, La Closerie des Lilas serves great seafood dishes.
Wander through the Luxembourg Gardens
A beautifully diverse park with English and French gardens, apple orchards and greenhouses full of orchids and roses.
Dine like a Parisian at l’Acajou
This elegantly decorated restaurant serves up classic French dishes but with an inventive twist thanks to famous chef Jean Imbert.
Indulge your sweet tooth at Angelina
A 200 years old institution that serves up old fashioned hot chocolate and some of the best pastries in Paris. Don't miss the Mont Blanc!
Go beer tasting at l'Académie de la Bière
The art of beer has been studied down to a tee at l'Académie de la Bière with 12 beers on tap that change regularly and over 100 bottled beers including IPA's and Trappist brewers.
Slurp on noodles at My Noodles
It's fascinating to watch the chef pull and shape the restaurant's noodles from the entrance. Everything on the menu is homemade and we personally recommend the spicy beef lamen and the Pekin ravioli.
Have a drink or a dinner at Le Hibou
With its central situation in the crossroads of the Odeon, The Hibou is a very pleasant place to have a drink on its sunny terrace or enjoy dinner in a subdued atmosphere.
Visit the Musée Zadkine
A stone's throw from the Jardin du Luxembourg, this former workshop, turned museum exposes the work of the Russian sculptor Ossip Zadkine who gifted his works to the city.
Learn about the famous couple at the Musée Curie
Close to your apartment is this museum focusing on the famous couple Pierre and Marie Curie. An amazing place that is worth a visit.
Enjoy a homemade brunch at 13 au Jardin
This little oasis of warmth & happiness is a boozy Tea-room with a range of fully homemade, organic, drinks and food, a (non-smoking) terrace and view of the Luxembourg gardens.
