Bright and attractive, this penthouse in Paris is a wonderful base in the city. The terrace is the star of the show here – it’s a vast space where you can watch the sunrise and sunset each day, and unwind while drinking in the panoramic view that includes the Eiffel Tower. Inside, this is a warm and welcoming home, equipped with everything you might need for a city break – though two guests will be sleeping on a sofa bed. The location makes that a small sacrifice though – the apartment is close to Place de la Nation, Charonne, and is only an eight-minute walk from Père-Lachaise cemetery, the iconic resting place of so many famous figures.
