A short walk from Kew Gardens and the namesake Tube station, this townhouse ticks all the boxes. It has space to spare across its four levels, and a lift connects the ground and first floors for those in wheelchairs. Downstairs is inviting as can be, from the cosy lounge to the light-filled kitchen. During the summer, you'll want to spend all your time in the garden, whether playing ping-pong or dining alfresco. This home is under the flight path, so noise is a given – still, we think the location is worth it. Cafes and restaurants are within walking distance, while chic Richmond and central London can easily be reached on the train.

There's a lift between the ground and first floors. They're wheelchair accessible, but the second and third floors are not.

There isn't air conditioning here. Between June and September, there’ll be fans in each bedroom – they can be provided outside of this period on request.
A weekly cleaner and fortnightly gardener will need access to the home – your host will let you know when.
Noise can be heard from overhead planes, but it's pretty quiet between 11pm and 6am.
The third bedroom has wall hooks, not a wardrobe.
