Just a ten-minute walk from Oxford's city centre, this Victorian home provides a stylish sanctuary. It’s worth noting the house is located alongside the railway line so it is possible to hear trains, but we think the overall design makes it easy to switch off and unwind. Unfolding across three floors, the rooms are well suited to families and groups with plenty of personal touches and character. Your lovely host is on hand to provide tips and recommendations, plus you’ll find the train station is a quick stroll away. It’s also right next to the River Thames – making this a great spot for refreshing walks.

About Oxford
Nicknamed the ‘City of Dreaming Spires’ by poet Matthew Arnold due to its thirty-eight honey-coloured colleges, Oxford is awash with tradition, culture and its prestigious University. Whether you’re streaming down the beautiful River Cherwell on a canal boat, discovering the city’s medieval roots or dipping in and out of designer shops, the world-famous edifices gloriously consume just about every crack, crevice and cobbled avenue.
