Surrounded by the Cotswold countryside, this original worker's cottage perfectly blends traditional and contemporary. While the exterior is all about the area's honey-coloured stone, the interior has a more modern feel – though the white-washed beams, steep staircases, and low doorways contribute to the old-world character. Great Rollright's pretty walks are on your doorstep here, including access to the Rollright Stones and d'Arcy Dalton Way. After a trek, nothing beats cosying up in front of the wood burner. Come summertime, pad out to the garden and unwind in the fresh air – preferably with a sundowner in hand.

Home truths
This is a period cottage. As such, the stairs are narrow and may be unsuitable for young children and those with limited mobility. The doorway leading to the main bedroom is also very low – you'll need to duck to enter, but it's full-height ceilings once inside.
The super king-size bed can be split into two singles upon request. Let your host know your preference during booking.
Your host provides logs for your first fire between 1st October and 31st March.
We suggest hiring a car in this location. On-street parking is available opposite the home.
The bathroom is on the ground floor, while both bedrooms are upstairs – it's not the most convenient.
