Set on the top floor of a historic building in Trastevere, this apartment offers a birds-eye view of the Eternal City. There isn't a lift, but the climb to the fourth level is worth it for the scenery alone – you'll be able to see Caelian Hill, the Vittoriano, and the Basilica di Santa Francesca Romana bell tower. But there's also a private terrace and cosy living space to enjoy, too. You'll find plenty to see and do in Trastevere, from artisan shops to traditional trattorias. If you want to take a closer look, you can stroll to the Trevi Fountain and Colloseum in thirty minutes.

Home truths

At full capacity, one guest will sleep on a sofa bed in the living area.

There isn’t a lift in this building and this apartment is on the fourth floor. It won’t suit those with limited mobility, as there will be quite a few stairs to climb.

The terrace looks a little tired, but the view is hard to beat. There are also some signs of wear and tear inside.

Although there is heating here, it's only available to use between 1st November and 15th April.
