Perched in Graça, this apartment sits in one of Lisbon's most characterful neighbourhoods. A shared landscaped garden offers city views, while a private balcony adds a quieter spot for morning coffee above the colourful street below. Underground parking – rare in central Lisbon – and air conditioning make this an easy base for those wanting to explore. And speaking of, the Alfama district and São Jorge Castle are walkable in around twenty minutes. The famous 28 Tram passes right by the door, too.

Home truths

  • At full occupancy, two guests will sleep on the sofa beds in the living area.

  • The building sits on the route of Tram 28, which is very popular with tourists and can get extremely busy. Most guests find it convenient, but if you prefer to avoid the crowds you can walk into the centre in around twenty to twenty-five minutes.

  • Given the central location, expect to hear some noise from the street, as well as the neighbours in the nearby apartments.

About Graça

Graça is the highest point of Lisbon's seven hills, sitting just above the beautiful Alfama. You’ll find some of the best views of the city in this neighbourhood. Wind your way slowly up and down the cobbled streets, pausing at viewpoints to take in the pastel-painted walls of Alfama. The downside to the incredible views is the steepness of Graça – we advise taking it steady and calling in to local bars and restaurants for regular energy-boosts. As the sun sets over Lisbon, you’ll find your efforts in finding the perfect terrace worthwhile.
