Tucked inside a 19th-century villa fringed by tall palms, this apartment in Cannes is a surprisingly calm retreat given how close the sea is – less than 100 metres away, with Boulevard de la Croisette and the Palais des Festivals a fifteen-minute walk. Inside, two separate living spaces mean there's room to gather or retreat, while the main bedroom doubles as a suite with its own sofa and TV area. A dedicated yoga studio, a walled courtyard off the bedroom, and a terrace with a hanging rattan chair give the place a rare sense of ease – more than you'd expect from a Riviera address this well-placed.
