If you're searching for a central London base, you can't do much better than Soho. It's home to vibrant pubs, some of the city's best restaurants, and, of course, iconic nightlife and bars. You'll find this split-level apartment in the heart of this lively area, just across from Golden Square. Every inch of the interior is awash with sunlight, thanks to the floor-to-ceiling windows spanning the length of the living area. With a desk for remote workers, a fully-appointed kitchen for skilled chefs, and a duo of breezy bedrooms (plus a third bed on the mezzanine), it ticks all the boxes for a comfortable stay.

Home truths
Two guests will sleep on the double sofa bed on the mezzanine level. This is open to the space below and lacks privacy.
Both bathrooms are en-suite. However, one also has dual access from the hallway.
The wi-fi can be slow in some rooms.
Although there's a lift to the entrance of this apartment, it doesn't reach the first level. You'll need to climb a spiral staircase to reach the second bedroom, workspace, and mezzanine sleeping area.
Parking isn't provided, but you won't need a car in this central area. Many landmarks are reachable on foot, and there are multiple Tube stations within walking distance if you plan to venture further afield.

Though there are still signs of its seedier past if you look hard enough, Soho is now home mainly to affluent young media types most of whom work in the area and who love the period townhouses, history-filled pubs, and buzzing independent restaurant scene. If you want to be in the thick of London's late-night bar scene and rubbing shoulders with London's hippest young things, then you're in the right place. If you want peace and quiet at the end of the day and are a light sleeper then you might want to look elsewhere.
