There's something incredibly elegant about this apartment. It's set in an Art Nouveau building in Loreto, close to Corso Buenos Aires' excellent shopping and twenty minutes by metro from the Duomo. Glittering chandeliers, stained-glass windows, and antique furniture all marry perfectly with the traditional 19th-century features. The formal living area and dining room are designed for group gatherings, while the last bedroom has three single beds that are ideal for little ones. Sure, it's a bit dated and the owner lives in an adjacent apartment, but we think it suits those seeking a large family home just a stone's throw from central Milan.

Home truths
At full capacity, three guests will sleep in a room with a single bed, a single sofa bed, and a pull-out single. We think it’s best suited to children.
The entrance to this apartment is on the second floor, and the home itself is split across two levels. There isn't a lift, so climbing stairs is a necessity. There are also twelve steps on the path from the road to the house.
Please note that air conditioning is only available in three bedrooms.
If you're travelling with little ones, your host can provide a cot and high chair upon request.
Heating is available between 15th October and 15th April. The fireplace is also decorative.
The owner lives in the same residence.
This apartment is on a main street, so some noise is to be expected.

The cringe-inducing name aside, NoLo is where you go these...
