This King's Cross home is well-suited to creative couples and solo travellers. The interior has a cool warehouse feel, with its Crittall windows, exposed brick walls, and overhead beams. Upstairs, the mezzanine-style bedroom is cosy, while the music room's baby grand piano is perfect for impromptu recitals. There's even a small but well-formed garden, though the nearby train tracks can be a bit noisy. Speaking of trains, you're a short walk from King's Cross St Pancras station, which connects you with all of London and then some. A bevvy of bars, shops and eateries are in the local area, too. Please note all stays of 8 nights or more include complimentary weekly cleaning, linen changes and replenishment of toiletries.

About Islington
Tree-lined terraces of very enviable Georgian townhouses, amazing restaurants, coffeeshops, and gastropubs, it's not hard to see why Islington is so popular with affluent media types. It's very well connected (ten minutes on the Victoria Line to Oxford Circus) and it's got a wonderfully residential feel - almost totally tourist free for some strange reason. Have a roast lunch at the Drapers Arms on a weekend and you'll quickly realise what makes Islington living so sought-after.
