Home truths

You won't find an oven here – though there is a hob and a microwave. We think the kitchen is better suited to prepping lighter bites than large meals. Also, there's only really room for four guests at the dining table. But there are a variety of restaurants a short walk away.

One bedroom has a sink and an open shower in the bedroom.

You'll need to pick up the keys from the office.

This accommodation does not accept groups of young people.

Parking in Madrid can be tricky, so we recommend sticking to easily accessible public transport where possible.

Local guide

About Salamanca

Salamanca is Madrid’s most glamorous and prestigious quarter. Usually associated with aristocratic façades, wide avenues, and luxurious living (atypical for Madrid’s cosy centre), the neighbourhood attracts domestic and international elite. It’s also home to many embassies and private schools, as well as niche museums and designer boutiques along its ‘Golden Mile’. The demanding clientele has made the food scene equally exclusive, but while you’re likely to find quite a few Michelin-star restaurants in the area, there are lots of relaxed tapas bars for those less willing to splash the cash.
