Home truths
Two well-behaved dogs are welcome to accompany you during your stay. Dogs are requested to remain downstairs and to stay off the furniture.
The AGA is lit between October and April and can be requested for the summer months during the booking process, though in the summer the kitchen can become quite hot due to the heat from the AGA, so guests may prefer to leave it unlit and use the gas barbecue, four-ring gas hob and microwave as alternatives.
An initial basket of logs is provided for the woodburning stoves between October and March; log supplies outside of these months can be purchased locally.
The stairs in the cottage are quite steep and small children must be supervised.
The king-size bed is zip/link and can be made into twin beds on request.
A high chair and stairgate are available on request, but there’s no travel cot provided, so you’ll need to bring your own if travelling with little ones.
There is unrestricted free on-street parking here.
