If you're looking to experience the magic of the Cotswolds, this home offers a fantastic location. Nestled in the historic village of Shilton, it’s just a short drive to Burford – often referred to as the "Gateway to the Cotswolds". You’ll be spoiled for choice when it comes to hiking trails and it’s possible to drive to Blenheim Palace and Oxford. And while there's plenty to explore in the surroundings, this 17th-century cottage has everything you could need to relax and unwind. From the cosy rooms and wood burning fires to the tranquil garden, this is the ideal setting for a refreshing retreat. One of the bedrooms is located in the garden annexe and it’s worth noting there are quite a few steps here – so this may not be the best option for those with reduced mobility.

One of the bedrooms is located in the garden annexe. It’s worth noting that while the annexe has underfloor heating some guests may find it is cooler than the main house.
There are steps leading down to the annexe and throughout the garden so this home may not be suitable for guests with reduced mobility.
Depending on preference, you might not find the hot water to be hot enough here.
Please note the bunk beds in the third bedroom are best suited to children
