Perfect for couples, this cottage has romantic retreats written all over it. Summer calls for alfresco G&Ts in the private garden, while chilly evenings are best spent snuggled up in front of the log burner. We find the all-in-one layout quite cosy, but it may take some getting used to. Keen to explore the Cotswolds? Cirencester is less than 6 miles by car, and Stow-on-the-Wold and Oxford make excellent day trip options. Closer to home, the village pub has your nightcaps covered – it's just a short stroll away.
