Traditional character abounds here – we're talking wooden beams on the ceilings, exposed honey-stone walls, and a winding staircase leading up to the bedroom. There are plenty of modern touches, too – our favourite being the small but sleek kitchen. Outside, a little patio is ideal for sundowners. The owners live next door, but you'll have plenty of privacy. Location-wise, you'll find picturesque villages, scenic walks, and vibrant cities like Bath and Bristol within easy reach by car.
