If you're after a characterful stay in a charming village, this Dunster cottage ticks all the boxes. Step through the stable doors and straight into the cosy living area, where sumptuous seating and a log burner await. The country-style kitchen has all you need to rustle up dinner, while a small patio at the back is ideal for sundowners. Upstairs, the bedroom has both a double and a single bed, though we think it's best for two. Just note that the steep stairs aren't suitable for children under 5. When you're ready to explore, you'll find pubs, quirky gift shops, and the famous Dunster Castle practically on your doorstep.

Home truths
There's only one bedroom here. It has a single bed and a double bed. With that in mind, we think this home is best for couples or two friends who don't mind sharing.
Due to the steep stairs, this cottage isn't suitable for children under the age of 5.
The patio is small and looks a little tired. While it's still a nice spot to sit, it's not the best option for dogs.
Please note that the church clock chimes each quarter hour, both day and night.
On-street parking is available in the local area, but finding a space can be a little tricky.
