If you’re looking for an idyllic country home, then look no further. This thatched barn conversion dating from the 1600s, has a picture-perfect shared garden and stunning Kent countryside views. As you’d expect, the inside is full of character, but if you’re tall, you’ll need to be mindful of the low beams. This place is ideal for families, which reminds us – there’s a trundle bed in bedroom three for two guests, so it’s probably better suited for kids. When you feel like exploring the area, the market town of Hythe with its shops, restaurants and wonderful beaches is 6 miles away.
